“从现在到2月份的交易截止日最需要关注的名字，不仅是库明加，还有巴特勒。从去年春天热火没有续约巴特勒开始，巴特勒和热火的未来就基本已经结束了。倒不是说巴特勒已经走定了，但是其他球队已经开始询问热火关于巴特勒的要价了，勇士也在其中之一。勇士在积极寻求另外一位球星，夏天的时候他们联系过几个球星，而如果巴特勒可以被交易，勇士觉得需要升级阵容，那么这事儿可能能成。

“而还有谁在勇士的名单里呢？是勒布朗-詹姆斯。我知道（詹姆斯联手库里）会是一个非常吸引人的机会，是一个相当美妙的情况，不过勇士去年以来一直都梦想将库里追梦和詹姆斯进行搭配，去年交易截止日他们就询问过，被拒绝了。奥运会詹姆斯又和库里还有科尔合作过，他们（勇士和湖人、詹姆斯）显然会关注现在的情况。如果明知道这事儿不可能，他们是不会有所作为的。不过这事儿最终还是得看詹姆斯，他有交易否决权，他想要湖人队去升级阵容，他还不想离开洛杉矶。”Windhorst说道。
